CODING ISIS by David Roys

This is a techno thriller and for a debut novel it was outstanding.

Chris Sanders, lecturer in computer science technology, also ex army, comes up with an ingenius piece of technology for a project he’s working on, so ingenius it could make him very rich. It could also fall into the wrong hands.

When a co-worker involved in the same project is found dead, all evidence shows that Chris was her killer. What was his motive? Was he having an affair that ended badly? Investigating officer Detective Ben Naylor is determined to put Chris behind bars. Chris’s wife Michelle, on the other hand, is determined to help her husband whom she trusts more than anything.

There are several points of view to this story, which the author employs effortlessly and where character drives plot at a compelling pace.

Coding Isis is definitely a riveting read. The Christchurch (NZ) based author is a techno oficianodo himself, who weaves in his own expertise, making the story real on a number of levels.

David Roys is a new crime writer to keep an eye on. You can link to the ebook and soon-to-be released paperback by clicking on the image.

I like the reference to Ben Sanders, btw. David, if you should spot my review, let me know if you would like me to add it to your Amazon reviewing page (Same with you JL). I’m not really up with the play on Amazon authors, but if it helps, I don’t mind helping. :)

It’s great to see NZ authors getting their books ‘out there’. I can’t access Kindle to my eReader so I can’t read it as yet. It certainly sounds good.
